The best alternative render

Postby jsti » Sun Nov 13, 2011 4:43 pm

Hello

I used to play media contents with my DLNA Sony Bravia, but now I have moved to another house and my TV doesn't include DLNA.

I'm thinking in buy a Media Render but I don't know what device can I buym, fully compatible to PS3 Media Server. I have been looking for a compatibility list but I cannot find it.

Could somebody give advice me? Would be the best option to buy a PS3 + remote control or are there better options for less money?

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

I'm not sure if I will assist or if this is the most updated list but I was reading the other topic http://www.ps3mediaserver.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2099&start=20
I didn't go throught all the 71 pages but I found the following devices listed there as compatible with PS3 Media Server

    PS3 - for obivous reasons
Xbox 360 - also for obivous reasons
    Pioneer BDP-LX70A Blu Ray Player

If someone else found out other devices that are compatible with PS3 Media Server please share with us!

Thanks!

PS3 is arguably the best renderer as far as maintaining quality.
I provide NO application support via PM or email, so please post your question to the forum per the Forum Rules.

Still strugling to have a good render.

Almost purchased the WD TV but I didn't since the model that I saw wasn't HD.

Does anyone have information about the GOOGLE TV?

Will the PMS be compatible with that?

Maybe we will suffer the same thing about have the render in Android device since I couldn't not find any good app until now that will work for all kind of media files.
