Postby SubJunk » Sun Nov 20, 2011 8:15 am

General:

Please download it from the front page.

Changelog:

  • Backwards-incompatible API changes (for plugin developers/packagers) - see http://tinyurl.com/3qtgk5k for more details
  • Updated binaries build script to include Linux support (thanks, happy.neko!)
  • Updated OS X MPlayer to include fontconfig support
  • Language updates:
    • Updated Bulgarian translation (thanks, JORDITO!)
    • Updated German translation (thanks, smo!)
    • Updated Dutch translation
    • Clarified English language labels
    • Speeds displayed in Mb/s instead of Kb/s
  • Added full featured IP filter with support for wildcards and ranges
  • Improved network interface choosing algorithm now skips virtual interfaces
  • Updated libraries (configuration, jgoodies and slf4j)
  • Detect file system changes runtime (adding/removing folders/files).
  • Updated JRE auto-download from 6u27 to 7u1
  • Added option to create a desktop shortcut to the Windows installer
  • Renderer image improvements
  • Improvements to tab layouts
  • Maximum bandwidth setting works
  • Limit bandwidth to 110Mb/s by default which should solve a lot of "stuttering playback" reports
  • Recognise forced subtitles (thanks, ExSport!)
  • Updated MPlayer and MEncoder on Windows and OSX from Sherpya's old builds to SubJunk's new builds which fixes many playback issues, colour-conversion bugs and more (but possibly has drawbacks for some files, too)
  • Main (Status) tab displays a large tick when it's connected to a renderer instead of a PS3 or warning image
  • Updated MediaInfo to 0.7.51 from 0.7.47
  • New natural sort option for file order: Alphanumeric (e.g. Season 2 before Season 10)
  • Always allow "Restart Server" button (#1186)
  • Updated FFmpeg for Windows to r31564 from r30656
  • We now support Samsung AllShare, along with our existing support for Samsung WiseLink
  • Allow to configure subtitle color if using PMS in headless mode (#1280)

Upgrade Notes:

For 1.23.0 and above:
  • Just uninstall the older version and install newer one
For versions prior to 1.23.0:
  • To retain your old settings you may have to copy your old config file/s to a new directory.
To find out where the new directory is on your computer, run the program and go to the Traces tab and look on the 14th line, the line that says "Profile directory:", that is the folder your config files should be saved now.
  • If you use the "media library / cache" option you should reset it.

With this latest version the PMS no longer appears to recognise NTFS mounted volumes, either inside of a shared folder (which is how I previously had it configured), or when trying to share the mounted volume's folder directly (it's shown in the list of folders to choose but isn't a valid choice).

it runs 32 bit java by default so the os shows as x86. you need to configure it to use 64 bit if u want it to use well 64 bit. then it would say x64 as for the vista no idea why it says that. it says windows 7 for me.

Using this version with my Mac 10.7.2 and every 5 minutes or so it drops the audio and subsequently fully crashes. I then have to press the circle button of the PS3 (to go back to XMB) and if I click on the video file again it just resumes where it was.

Annoying to have this every 5 minutes.

I can't seem to attach a debug log because it keeps saying .log files are not allowed.

Seeing nothing weird in there like Java errors or something.

Before this I used 1.50 beta 1 and 2 and can't remember to have this problem. Maybe a fresh install helps but I have no idea how to do this on Mac (seems like the files are hidden)

You can attach ".zip" files.

With 1.50b2 mkv with subs works almost fine in Sony Bluray S480 but now it's impossible, I get an error like, File is not supported or corrupted.

mencoder.exe begins to work (cpu 100%) buffered almost 10Mb, then I get the error. I've tried mkv with external subs and mkv with subs included within, no way.

I've replace mencoder.exe from 1.50b2 to 1.50 win32 folder and now works again.

How can I help you to solve this?
