PS3 Media Server 1.50.0 Beta 2 is released

Built from SVN r970.
Released as beta because some code changes haven't been widely tested yet.
No new features have been added since 1.50.0 Beta 1 but many bugs have been fixed.

• Updated MediaInfo to 0.7.50 from 0.7.47

Upgrade Notes:

For 1.23.0 and above:

• Just uninstall the older version and install newer one

For versions prior to 1.23.0:

• To retain your old settings you may have to copy your old config file/s to a new directory.
  To find out where the new directory is on your computer, run the program and go to the Traces tab and look on the 14th line, the line that says "Profile directory:", that is the folder your config files should be saved now.
• If you use the "media library / cache" option you should reset it.

Can i use le last ppa's mediainfo now ? , i have some problems before on Ubuntu with this paquet and all version of ps3 media server with it to play mkv (error 254 with tsmuxer).

That update is for Windows/Mac OS X, not Linux. The 0.7.50 PPA should be fine, although the issue you describe doesn't sound like the issue with MediaInfo 0.7.44.

Thank you anyway for the answer and I can not tell where the problem comes after several days to install ubuntu 10.04 from the most recent testing all versions of PS3 mediaserver available. All what I found is that since I deleted mediainfo and dependencies of all of my computers running ubuntu I can continue to read my mkv (generated with ogmrip and my dvd with the single copy video track the audio ac3 or dts and subtitles). I do not talk more because I know I'm completely off topic here, I often go on the irc channel. Thank you anyway for this great program.

I'm sorry, this question was probably asked many times already.
I'm using version 1.50.0 beta 2 on my mac but no mkv fils appear in the Ps3 Menu. i see the folders but they say they are all empty. pleas can someone help me i'm kinda lost.

Some TVs have settings to stretch the image to fit the whole screen, but I don't recommend it since the image will become distorted. Most movies are made to be displayed with black lines
