[UBUNTU SERVER] web Interface

Postby wild dagger » Sun Nov 06, 2011 2:15 pm

I do not know if it's already in place since I discovered pms gradually, but since I plan to put ps3 mediaserver on a Ubuntu server is it possible to have a configuration interface through a browser internally firefox? (as mediatomb but more complete)

There is a tiny web interface available (at least there was, can't seem to find the link to it?)
I'd love to have a full blown WebUI to access pms; it could be built as a plugin. If someone wants to do this, I'd be happy to assist for the technical parts accessing the config. The problem with making everything available through something like that, is that plugins don't have any way to be configured except through config files and maybe java swing components. We could still tackle this issue once the rest is done.
If you always wanted to have your most recent videos at the top of the folder in the ps3 or wished you could group all videos with the same genre in one folder, have a look at pms-mlx
