Config for slimbox STOREX

Hello guys,

I've a multimedia box which can display Full HD movie.
But It don't work with all mkv in 1080p.
I think a config file must be added on my serv.
Any body can help me to make a config file?

It works perfectly with simple divx.

Reading the specifications slimbox: (HD/SD) H.264 MKV
No mp4 with mkv...

Here is a start for the "supported".
The "supported" only used if "MediaInfo = true"
Use the PS3.conf as base, and info!

Could you help me to write a correct conf file plz??

I want to help more, but you have this player so you will be my tester.

Have you tried to use the "device spy" ( I asked earlier) for the `protocol info` from this player. (this can be very useful information for the "Supported= " lines).
Please try this and post the info.

Thanks chocolateboy, now i've a custom icon for my slimbox.
But i can't read anymore my mkv. But i think i've foun the error, the audio s on A_AC3! I'm not sure that's supported by my slimbox.
Could you help me to configure for transcode it?

I guess you mean that you edited next line in the renderer config:

Code: Select all

TranscodeAudio = ?

to

Code: Select all

TranscodeAudio = mp3

This setting is for audio files only, so this won't be used for video transcoding.

I guess this player should be able to play the mentioned mkv file with A_AC3 audio without transcoding.
Have you tried to play this mkv file directly on the player with usb ?

Can you post the config file you made, and the debug.log while you played this mkv file ?
You can add those files in a zip file with your post.

Also info about your computer specs and network setup would be helpful.
