Won't show subtitles?

Hello
When streaming an .avi-movie, the subtitles are not shown (I use the MEncoder, can't figure out how to use the others).
I've tried checking and unchecking "ASS/SSA subtitles" and "fontconfig".
I've put "dan" as my first subtitle language priority, as the subs are in Danish.
And finally, I've made sure that the .avi-file has the same name as the .srt-file.

Can you help me?

Make sure you are using the file inside the #Transcode# folder. You should see various versions of the file with "Subtitles Found" at the end of the title with the language of the subtitle.

I've tried all files in the Transcoded folder. The first one is called "1.avi [MEncoder] {External Subtitles}" where 1 is the title of the film.
The other two files has something to do with the audio, I think. They're called "MEncoder {Audio: MP3/Undertermined}*" and "MEncoder {Audio: MP3/Undertermined} {Sub: SupRip/Undertermined}*"

None of the options work.

you're on windows ?
maybe the sub file is not ANSI encoded. Open it in notepad, and save it, then try again

Windows Vista, yes.
Tried opening, then saving, in notepad. Still no go.

Have you tried putting it into its own folder with just the movie and the sub file. Also if you play the file in like VLC or something does the subtitle work in that?

They are in a folder with only those two files.
The subs work in VLC and media player.

well, maybe you are using the 1.10.1 version who have some troubles on this !?
