I would like to know as well. Just got a Fujifilm Finepix Real 3D W3 photo camera and I'm having trouble displaying my photo's on my tv. Play Memories doesn't seem to recognize this camera and PS3 Media Server doesn't display my .mpo files on my computer..

I am looking for a solution for the same problem. AFAIK - the MPO files are also "just" special JPG files. So could this be done similar to the way how the "vdr" extension feature was added, recently?

Hey, I was thinking about making the file extensions per media type configurable when the request to include vdr files came up. As this is the second request of the same type in a short while I'll do it.
You'll be able to add extensions in the PMS.config file and if the files work correctly you can give us a note to include the extension in pms by default. I'll post more details when it's done (definitely not this week)
If you always wanted to have your most recent videos at the top of the folder in the ps3 or wished you could group all videos with the same genre in one folder, have a look at pms-mlx

Thanks - that will be a great feature and add more flexibility to PMS.
Just let me know once we can test something ;-).

The change has been submitted in r816 and will be available in the next release. Here's a description of how it can be configured

Hm - without this feature - is there any chance to stream MPO files as JPG, now?
(MPO is a 3D JPG format)

The extension now has to be added in the code, but I won't do that unless someone has tested it. To test it, the extension has to be added to JPG.java and recompiled. Sorry about that.

I can test this - but I do not know how to re-compile the JPG.java.
Is it enough to extract and modify the jar file? Or could you give me a re-compiled version?
