PS3MS CrystalHD support ?

Hello.

This is my first post. Pleased to join this community. I have discovered PS3MS while searching a DLNA server compatible with my temperamental Sony EX500 TV.
I'm using PS3MS v1.30.1 + mencoder_mt on my NAS with an Atom D510 (Intel D510MO motherboard) + 2GB + WinXP SP3 Pro. It works very perfectly .

However, I'm able to transcode LD videos, some HD 720p ones (thanks to Hyper-Threading + SSE4 and mencoder_mt optimization), but HD 1080p ones are too heavy for my configuration. So, I have looked for a solution to this limitation, and I have bought a AzureWave AW-VD920H CrystalHD BCM70015 and installed latest drivers. It works (tested with YouTube HD videos and Diags utility).

I have seek some information on the web about mplayer/mencoder/ffmpeg configuration for CrystalHD support, and i have found this thread. It seems that CrystalHD is now supported by mplayer/mencoder/ffmpeg since April 2011, but I'm not able to active into PS3MS. I have tried vc=ffmpeg12crystalhd,ffodivxcrystalhd,ffh264crystalhd,ffvc1crystalhd options with no success. I have also tried to update mplayer/mencoder/ffmpeg to latest versions with no effect.

So, I'm joining you to get your help :
- Do you know how to configure PS3MS to enable CrystalHD support ?
- If somebody PS3MS development team is interested to help me, I'm ready for C++ dev and test to integrate this support.

I have submitted a new feature request about this on Sherpya tracker.

Why? If you read this forum widely you have to know that new PMS versions will not use Sherpya builds anymore but SubJunk ones

Oh sorry ! I was not aware of that (I've just arrived in this community) ... builds.txt file on v1.30.1 indicates that FFmpeg/MPlayer/MEncoder builds were coming from Sherpya.
I read that that this change is scheduled into 1.31.0, so i'm going to test the PMS SubJunk Build 41 immediately.
I have closed the feature request.

It wasn't needed to close request but you can already test it with SubJunk build.
His MEncoder is compiled from latest MPlayer/MEncoder trunk so maybe it already supports CrystalHD? Or if not, you can ask SubJunk directly if he plans to include this support(when it is already in official MPlayer trunk)
