Yes it works for me :) (in two different location on two different computers with two different OSes). First don't use tiny (it should work but it is crap). 2nd see if HTTPv2 is not enabled and then try and set the gs_plugin.init_delay to something.Start on 7000 (7 seconds).

Hi There!
First time post. I have a Linux machine and I can't seem to get any tracks displayed. it's finding the songs as I can see my tracks from the playlist I'm searching in the gsp file.

But on the PS3 it shows no tracks. I have tiny mode = false and init_delay = 7000.

I've played around with those values but it doesn't seem to be working.

This is the first time I've gotten on this plugin so I wonder if it's just a bad day for grooveshark.

If you have any ideas or need any more info please let me know.

Cheers!!
J

I am having trouble locating this "pms.conf" file. Where the hell do I find it?
I am running PS3 Media Server 1.30.1, which should be the most recent version.

I already downloaded and moved the gs_plugin_040.jar into the plugins folder.
So, now what?

I need to find this pms.conf and add.. Exactly what?
I have made a folder at c:\gs_data for the "gs_plugin.path", which I as far as I understood needed some direction for?

Please advice.

Thanks.

Alright, found it and added:
gs_plugin.path = C:\gs_data
gs_plugin.tiny = true

I start PMS, I find PMS under the Music tab on my PS3, open it, find the Grooveshark folder, open it and see a bunch of folders, like Songs, Artists and so on. Within these folders there are more folders, such as "A", "B" and so on. I guess songs starting with an A would be located under "A", but every folder is empty.

What gives?

Also I have uninstalled the standard PMS and installed PMS with the Shark Build.

Finding all songs on A would be quite time consuming. What you see is a primitive search system. Opening the "A" folder "types" an "A" to the word your searching for. Opening "B" adds a "B" etc. eventually you'll have a string which you can search for. Depending on your render you should see the string you serach for at the top (and it's empty when you start). Press this and you'll serach for that string. Or create a file in the c:\gs_data\gs_searches.txt where you enter your searches one per line
xxxx
yyyy
etc.

GrooveShark has made a change (last week most likely) so now nothing works. I've looked and if I'm correct it should be a quick fix, but then again who knows...
