Some Basic questions (Reload, external Programs)

Hi there.
I got some questions I did not find an answer here in the forums.
1: Is it possible to Launch external Programs (as Entry in web.conf eg.?)
2. How often is the web.conf reloaded (At Service Start/ When entering Submenus on PS3?)
2.1. Can it be triggered? (from PC)
2.2.If not: Can reload of media server be triggered "only when nothing is streamed"? (from PC) - a programmaticly solution would be ok; I'm coding in .NET but sure would also understand an Java snipped

Ok. Looks like I have to answer myself... The Web.conf seems to be reloaded only when the media server is reloaded.

So *hopefully* this time anyone can give me an answer:

Is there any possibility to find out on PC if the media Server is being accessed (because of a file or registry entry which only exists while streaming or something like that?)

Nothing? No File being accessed while streaming? No Registry entry, NADA?

don't know what you want to achieve, but no, the server does nothing else that reading the file you want to stream
