PS3 Media Sever Name Change??

And here is the strange thing... I _am_ browsing on my PS3. Why would there be an image of a PS3 in the menu of my PS3?

I agree with this, a PS3 icon on the PS3 itself doens't make much sense, but it is fairly simple to change, i did.

We can discuss this, but the issues to solve it out of the box (1, 2) have been closed with a "won't fix". Which is too bad, as it seemed there were pretty solid arguments on the table speaking for a change.

Anyway... This means the only way to solve it is to locally install a custom icon.

FWIW, I prefer the green arrow.

The name change is being/has been discussed by shagrath and others. It makes sense, and it may happen, but it's not a priority.

Ehh.. this is for render icons only..right?.. like showing my BraviaTV icon in the GUI of PMS.... not on my tv/ps3

I do not think the name should be changed. The name was how I found this wonderful media sever by way of google search. The name is....perfect! Happy! Happy! Joy! Joy! Tell your friends and anyone who'll listen about PS3 Media Server!
