PMS 1.23.629 - mencoder.exe crashes at start of transcode

Hi there,

Clean svn checkout of build 1.20.444, compile, and run. Mplayer.exe crashes at startup with "mplayer.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." System is Windows XP SP3 with Java 6 update 23. Previous builds 412, 413, etc, are fine.

Anyone else have this problem?

The Win32 folder is there and so is mplayer.exe. It tries to launch it twice, and mplayer.exe crashes twice.

I am still getting these type of errors - but when trying to transcode a file. Revision 514 works fine. I am trying with revision 629. Operating system is Windows XP on a single core Athlon XP2800 CPU. The log shows:

I get a dialog pop up to send a report to Microsoft for each video mencoder.exe tries to transcode.

The solution for me: replace the Win32 folder in revision 629 with the Win32 folder from revision 514. Not an ideal solution, but it works.
