hi sharkhunter. i do not know why but this build does not detect my ps3 and as for the DbgPacker it does not appear in the general config. so i can not post any logs, sorry. other builds i have not had any problems with them detecting my ps3 but i really want to use this one for the navi-x. thanks

It is a bug in SHB. Just bind your IP address and it should work anyway....

i also have this problem of not being able to find my ps3.. what do you mean by blind your ip address?? any help would be great thanks

Basically under "General Configuration" modify the ip settings (possible change interface and/or change port number etc.)

Hi New SHB is out. Mainly it just tries to keep up with the offcial trunk .
It uses the new Profile stuff (viewtopic.php?f=8&t=11094) BUT SHB tries to merge any old configuration you got to the new location of the config files. This should work if you have an old install of SHB or an old install of PMS. Future releases will likely merge from even more places.

just tried the new version.
There are two things that did not work for me.
1-after install, the software would not start...then I realized that in this new config, the pms.conf file is placed in a different dir (programdata/pms-shb). However, the installer placed two files named pms.con.new and web.conf.new there which, of curse could not work.
I think either you let the user know that they need to copy their old pms.conf there, or just place the new default ones without the .new extension

2- the second one is really minor. I've noticed that now, in the default .cred file, you make examples using the channels.<name of channel>=<uid>,<pwd>.
however, before it used to be channel.<name of channel>=<uid>,<pwd>. The difference is with the "s" on channels... is it correct with our without it?

3- the default pms.conf, has a cookie.path that points to a dir. should this not point to a specific cookie file to be used by the channel plugin?

Apart from those things...all the rest seems perfect and, as usual, a great and useful job that you did!

saleopardi - where did your old conf files recide? If it was in %APPDATA%/PMS-SHB or %APPDATA%/PMS it should have benn merged. If not then the merge fails. You spoted a bug that needs fixing...

This should work if you have an old install of SHB or an old install of PMS" i uninstalled the previous version 2 days ago. should i reinstall it so that the new version when i install it over the old version will work? or will it work without the older version?

lartomar2002 - if you installed a previous SHB the new one should be able to merge all your old configs. It should work without but maybe saleopardi found a bug there which should be fixed...
