2 (or more) audio tracks - how to switch? [Solved]

Hi everybody,

first of all: I've used the search function, but I was unable to find anything concerning this topic - sorry for that.

So my problem is that I've got some movies (mkv (X264) & avi (DivX/XviD)) that have 2 audio tracks, the first in english, second in german (I'm german).

How do I switch to the 2nd audio track? I've tried this "music sign" on the ps3, after you press the triangle, but it doesn't change anything.

you can't do that dynamically (except in some cases but still), you must choose the language in the #transcoded# folder or configure the server to prioritize german; put in the subtitles priority value: ger,eng

Why should I change the settings of the subtitles?
I've changed it in the above field: "audio language priority" should it be in english.

So you said it COULD (still) happen, that this won't change the language to german automatically, right? If this is the case, I have to change settings in the #transcoded# folder.

Everything correct?

yeah sorry, don't know why I talked about subtitles :p
but same goes for audio priority settings: ger,eng
video will start in german automatically if there's a german audio track (english, or anything else otherwise)

Don't undestand you Shagrath
From v1.04(I think) I am able to switch audio for MKV and avi files when transcoding is not used(muxing used or direct streaming).
Only sometimes I had problems when MKV included Vorbis or DTS with older versions. Need to try it again with latest version
