Made a easy script that allow using a launcher

Also to get WEB streams working on PS3 with Ubuntu first use the pmsencoder

The in a terminal run

ln -s $HOME/pms-linux-1.22.0/WEB.conf $HOME/.config/PMS/WEB.conf

This will create a symbolic link to the WEB.conf in your pms install dir (if you extracted it to your home folder) in the correct settings folder

if this doesn't work for your distro of Linux just replace $HOME/.config/PMS/ with what ever the path name for PMS.conf is (you can find it in the Trace window after starting PMS

Just wanted to point out that 1.22.0 works with 3.61 PS3 firmware. The problem some people are having is most probably related to something else, try deleting configuration files and reinstalling PMS.

the sony protection still there even with this release audio gone afta 20 mins when u play the movie is there anyway to fix it

This Cinavia protection isn't going away anymore i'm afraid. There's no fix at this time.

seems that way very unfortunate, this has completely rendered my ps3 useless now, shame really, such a great setup going on... guess i'll probably end up building a pvr system, at this point i was only using the ps3 for streaming movies from my computer, seems every single movie i get now has cinavia, at least 6 of the last 7

Any file with Cinavia just use chapter mode, every time the sound cuts out just go out to the menu, go to settings, put the clock 1 hour forward and restart at the next 20min marker in the chapters, you wont miss a thing and it takes about 20seconds to fix every 20min.
Also there is a fix out for Cinavia with MKV2VOB but the version using it has some trouble with other stuff afaik but soon the Cinavia DRM will be just a bleak memory ;D

Only solution how to pass Cinavia is passing audio stream directly to receiver ===> DTS stream.
Every other audio format is decoded by PS3 so Cinavia is detected.
DTS is packed to LPCM 2.0 so maybe if AC3 will be packed same way, maybe it will work but who can do it???? Shagrath?
Or DTS encoder is also solution but it doesn't exist for free.

There was a new update to the PS3, and now my PMS can't connect to it. Even with the new 1.22.0 update. Any info on that?
