Tut to set up youtube streaming??

I have been using Tversity to stream Youtube videos to Xbox.From reading you have to add it to a WEB.conf file but i dont know how to create the links.In Tversity I can add my user name and it will add all my subscriptions and i can view them on Xbox. How do i do this?Can i do the same thing TVersity does?Stream all subscriptions under my Youtube username?

Web video streaming doesn't work on Xboxen. Patches welcome.

Channels can be used for youtube streaming. Login has not been added but that can be done.

Hm, I suppose I could try channels but I'm surprised that its all so difficult.

Is there no way where I can say:

- Edit a simple youtube.xml file where I can add videos I want to play
- Use VLC on my windows machine, and 'stream to ps3' or 'stream to ps3mediaserver' somehow?
- [ideal solution] Create a Youtube directory where I can add windows HTML shortcuts, or even just text files ("Funny Cat.txt") that contains a youtube URL?

And: will the channel setup use the maximum video quality if available?

How is editing "a simple youtube.xml file" and fiddling with shortcuts/text files simpler than adding a single line to WEB.conf?

As I stated the last time you brought this up, you can create/populate the playlist on YouTube: Add to -> [New playlist... ->] PMS. Then you can get the playlist ID by navigating to Account -> My Videos & Playlists -> PMS. The playlist ID is the value of the p parameter in the URL e.g. p=1234ABCDxxx.
