Help with aac

Postby shawndre » Wed Jan 21, 2009 11:20 pm

Hi, i was wondering if there is a way to turn off the transcoding of audio files. All of my music is in the aac format and I know it works natively on the ps3. The ps3 media server is automatically trancoding it to pcm. how can I turn this off? thank you

try near the bottom of the transcoding settings tab (section)
under misc options there is skip transcode section. put your extensions m4a, there. (seperated by a comma)
that should help.
good luck
