PS3 streaming hz??????? very confused

Hi

I'm from Denmark, and I'd tried to read about this "problem" in here but I haven't been able to find the answer! Mostly because it's so technical!

But here is the question: If you have a mkv file that's runs at 24p on my pc and I stream it over to my PS3, what hz will it be send to the tv? 50 or 60 hz.??? I know that you can't stream 24p!

I'm thinking about buying Panasonic VT30 but it has problems with 50 hz materiel but not 60 hz!

If you have european version of PS3, you can set output to 50 or 60 Hz.
In settings there is option 50Hz or Automatic. Manual says that AUTO is always 60Hz and 50Hz is always 50Hz output

Thanks But I noticed this in the manual: "This option applies only to video content stored on your hard disk or storage media." Wouldn't that mean that this does not work while streaming?

Definitely it works for streamed material, I tested it
Unfortunatelly there is no possibility to play content at 24p if it is not physical BD disk
