PS3-Radio: How to add thousands of radio station to PS3MS

I'm dealing with the same problem as leklausm and RicoPS3. Win7 32bit. It always gets stuck at 49% on http://radio3.sikhnet.com/siknetradio-channel3.mp3.m3u. If you let it run long enough i get a "Run-time error '14': Out of string space"

Removing the last line, the half of a line that's usually there, from the World-Radio.dat will allow you to get through Step 2 and Step 3 without issue. But then you only have 49% of the stations? I get 20373 lines in the World-Radio-Web-Conf.txt file.

I tried StreamJunkie's idea of removing all instances (lines 6545 and 6855) of the problem site from the World-Radio.csv. Then deleted the World-Radio.dat and ran it again, but the PS3-Radio.exe just re-downloads a new World-Radio.csv with the bad site.

Is there anyway to exclude bad sites? or have a timeout on bad sites and continue on?

radio3.sikhnet.com is responding with a mp3 file (many MBs) instead of a playlist (a few KBs). This is why it struggles for a very long time processing each radio3.siknet.com entry and also why it eventually exceeds limits. There is no way to work around this in PS3-Radio without modifying the source code, which is not available. If you can add filter rules to your router, however, blocking access to radio3.sikhnet.com will prevent the erroneous download,thereby allowing PS3-radio to proceed past 49%.

Thank you. Blocking the problem site(http://radio3.siknet.com) worked just fine. I used my firewall software to block it instead which worked just as easy. All three steps went all the way through without any other issue.

err, yeah... replace "router" with "firewall" in my post. The firewall changed can be anywhere between PS3 Media Server and the Internet.

Nice workaround for this plugin. I gave up on it a long time ago. Added the URL to my DENY list in my D-Link router.....done.

A hint though for users of newer SubJunk releases (if your SubJunk version writes it's PMS.conf and WEB.conf in the appdata folder). You must copy your WEB.CONF from APPDATA/ROAMING/PMS folder to your PMS install directory. Once the process is done.....MOVE the newly revised WEB.CONF back into your APPDATA folder to keep UAC benefits.

Block this URL in you Win 7 firewall or in your router.

I don't know how to block an url in windows 7 firewall.... also my fritzbox seems not to be able to block URL's

Just googeling a little around.... but don't now how...

any hints ?
