Also this one is not bad when you need max quality:

vqmax=3 will limit codec to not go so low in bitrate when e.g. full black picture visible so it can avoid artefacts when encoder will wrongly undercompute minimal bitrate needed for these specific scenes.
vqmin=1 is not recommended (can lead to non-compatible files or picture with artifacts...some renderers doesn't support so high bitrates generated with these settings)
keyint=5 will help in bandwidth limiting/precision. Some renderers are OK with keyint=25, some not, so 5 is good default.

(Adjusting my 'video quality settings' and 'bandwith limit' does not influence this problem at all, not for the worse or better).

I did test disable and enable;
- A/V syncs alt. methode,
- Force framerate parsed from FFmpeg
- custom parameters: framerate == 23.976 :: -speed 1.042709376 -ofps 25 (and left blank)

Maybe someone out here get a hunch on how this most probably could be solved.... and I will try not to stress myself

EDIT, tried the new remuxed one, still the same problem..., if i remove the subs or use TXmuxer to play(as it plays without subs), its fine, but, i need the subs as its in a different language...?

@jpagie: not sure if it will help, but I had some strange video/audio issues with DVD ISO's and fixed those by adding the mencoder_decode "-mc 0" option. Can't hurt to try... ;-)

What you need to do for both the audio and video tracks, when using mkvmergeGUI, is to set compression to "none" under the "Extra options" tab.

Hi slooff, thanks for the suggestion! I did tried that option (even restart after save), unfortunately it didn't help..

5,1,2 is default in the upcoming SB21 and yeah the quality is sometimes even better with 5,1,2 than 5,1,1 so you may get a nice surprise

just like to chime in and say the 5,1,2 thing is kinda nice i didnt know the first number would limit the bandwidth without quality loss, anyway im now using 5,1,1 (lossless my bravia can handle it

) and also removed the max bandwidth set to 48 (bravia max speed) from the config cuz it was stuttering without it on some mkvs. works flawlessly. tested my usual hard case mkvs and they all play fine dont notice any difference.. apart from lower bandwidth speeds which can always be a good thing since im limited to 100mbit. anyway nice 1.. btw the status page is also fixed now no scroll bar (in the latest svn)

With 5,1,1 you can't get uder 48Mbit bandwidth with 1080p files so I suppose you are remuxing/streaming and not transcoding?
Anyway with 5,1,1 and 5,1,2 you can't see differences in quality but for some files 5,1,1 settings doesn't work ok because MEncoder generates buffer underrun errors so more compatible is 5,1,2.
Shuttering with bandwidth limit set is due to CPU demands. When set, conversion eats much more CPU cycles. Because of that it is sometimes better to lower quality without any limits which will give same quality as with defined limits but with much less CPU needs.
How to limit bitrate without any limits set? Play with vqmin and vqmax:

If vqmin=vqmax then video stream should have constant quality so it is easier to find right value for WIFI/LAN100/LAN1000 etc.
