blu ray rip tutorial/guide?

Hi all,

Seeking some help. I have been ripping blu rays (m2ts files) to my hard drive and trying to stream them through my ps3. Getting them to play is easy, but as the movie plays on, the audio becomes out of sync. I have followed tutorials online, but those are dated back in 2009. I was wondering on the process that people use that's allows me to play them without any issues. Please help, I have been trying to figure this out for a month now. Thanks!

As far as I know, the best way to do this, is to use AnyDVD HD to rip the movie files (they end up in a stream folder and have .m2ts or .mts extensions--similar to .vob files).

There are also those who say to use MakeMKV to rip the movies AND turn into MKV in one fell swoop, but I don't think MakeMKV removes copy protection like AnyDVD HD.

I use makeMKV. They use the PS3 (BluRay) setting on SuperC to get it to a M2TS file that works with 5.1 thought the media server. Both programs are free.
