It's not rude to say what's on your mind mongoosenco, so non taken. It's even a fact I need to chill

. For that very reason (
using PMS to watch a movie -> to sit back and RELAX(!)) I need to know what's causes my problems.
That's why I'm here for. And we're all here to help eachother..
The main reason I'm stressed, is my uncapability to comprehensible communicate to "image" you all what's going wrong exactly. I'm sorry for that.

@ jmasterdude:
Thanks for describing all that you went thru, all you said is clearly recognizable by me.
jmasterdude wrote:Before applying SB20 I unistalled PMS and made sure to delete the service and all PMS folders including the appdata. Last night I started checking PMS for the first time in a couple of months. I was amazed that now almost all of my HD videos work fine.
I did installed SB20 after I totally reinstalled Windows (Win7 64bit). Installed Java 6 update 23.
- My HD content like MKV is running like a charm with Dutch sub, even with the highest video quality 1:1:1. Quality is superiour @ approx. 60-100mb a second. No humps, weird framerate things; all is perfect!
* to be sure I use as default: keyint=1:vqscale=1:vqmin=2- My VIDEO_TS (just normal dvd's) on the other hand: every second it looks like it 'freeze up' (a frame?) for just a tiny milisecond (only video, not audio). Quality seems good enough, it is just this annoying 'framehopping', don't know how to describe it otherwise. (Adjusting my 'video quality settings' and 'bandwith limit' does not influence this problem at all, not for the worse or better).
I did test disable and enable;
- A/V syncs alt. methode,
- Force framerate parsed from FFmpeg
- custom parameters: framerate == 23.976 :: -speed 1.042709376 -ofps 25 (and left blank)
Maybe someone out here get a hunch on how this most probably could be solved.... and I will try not to stress myself

Thanks in anticipation and all feedback,
JP
