Web content will not stream

I have the problem that with pmsencoder 1.5.5 (ffmpeg) played internet videos are too big for my Sony Bravia EX.
The left and the lower border is truncated. This means, the picture isn't completely visible.
I gues that the internet video has a 16/10 ar, but my TV only has 16/9.

So my question: Is it possible to influence/change the ar of pmsencoder? Perhaps by adding some custom options to ffmpeg ?
Or how can I get full screen playback on my TV?

What exactly do you mean by "all" web content? Channels has a rather huge YouTube channel (which I've streamed from just now). If the problem is about web content then we perhaps should move the disussion here (viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8776) if it is about Channels then we move it here (viewtopic.php?f=12&t=9329)

Hi Chocolateboy. I would like to make a feature request for pmsencoder please. It's not a huge deal, but would make it much more friendly. Would you please consider including in the .jar file a bunch of tiny predefined videos. All they would have to be is a few seconds long, low res even, black with white text saying "Cannot connect", "Server full", "Stream not found", "Server not found" or whatever are typical error messages from mms/rtsp servers, etc. Upon getting one of these errors, pmsencoder could send one of these tiny files to the renderer, so that it doesn't get a "File is corrupt or unsupported" etc, but a more meaningful message on screen. Thanks for your consideration, and also for your ongoing hard work on this project.

I recently added the This Week in Tech (TWiT) network feeds to my Web.conf file. I can now watch my favorite podcasts on my Sony Bravia thanks to PS3 Media Server and PMSEncoder. More detail here.
Does anyone know the H.264 feed address for live.twit.tv?

Update: I found the link for the stream. My blog post has the configuration line for the live stream as well.
