how to force transcoding from DTS to AC3

Hey guys,

I need some help from you
My Samsung tv (LE40C579) has proplems with dts in MKV's over network. i want to solve the problem with a .conf file,
that force my PMS to transcode DTS to AC3 on the fly. which switches i have to change in the conf file?
I tried many options but i didnt find a solution for my problem.

modify your renderers config file to disable DTS...

disable support for DTS in samsung.conf

If this parameter is set true

settings mentioned before can be overridden by sth like that:

In that case remove support for DTS

Hi, having the same problem. I need my Samsung to convert DTS to AC3. When I try editing the Conf file I get an error "access denied"
