Video Freezing on playback

using the newest ps3 media server and i playback a variety of avi's and vob's and they freeze up and in the traces tab is shows the following jibber jabber

what does this mean???
what can i do to correct this?

i have a P4 2.8ghz with HT
1gb of ram pc3200
hard wired using cat5e cable
