H.264 AVC AC3 TS show video but no audio

I have some recorded HD TV files that I tried to stream to the PS3. I get video but no audio.
They are TS files containing H.264 AVC (720p or 1080i) and AC3 audio. (New Zealand HD TV broadcast).

I think the PS3 should have all the required codec support (as H.264 AVC is one of the bluray formats).
I would prefer to mux and stream rather than transcode if possible as I don't have enough grunt and like the native quality.

How do I setup a TS H.264 AVC AC3 mux command that repackages the file into something the PS3 is happy with?

I really appreciate your commenting on the forum and still getting time to write new code.

I tried 1.10.306 with simular / identical results to 1.10.1.
- Played from the default I get good quality video, but no audio. The PS3 also reports no audio.
- Played from any of the transcode folders I eventually get corrupt data. Looking on the PMS PC I see that Mencoder has crashed.

I have just recorded and uploaded a 7 second TS sample that you or others could try sometime. It is 5MB and you can get it here:
Freeview HD - Turtle.ts

I tried various other TS files (TV1, TV3, HD sample from the internet) no joy.

I suspect that the issue is a 'feature' of the PS3 software (I am using 2.60) as it should play streamed TS files correctly.

the ps3 does not play all flavours of mpeg ts unfortunately.... and I would say, neither mencoder

I will try manually remuxing to a different container etc to see if the PS3 is happy with something close.
