DTS direct stream

Hi,
thanks for this wonderfull mediaserver
I tested the last v1.10.1 with direct DTS stream... but I can't get it to work...
if I choose this option, I get either an audio noise like 'grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr' , or the video does not lauch.
My amplifier suports DTS (logitech Z550), and is connected to PS3 through optical output.
Any ideas?

There's a popup telling you to check specific settings on the PS3 when you enable the DTS option in PMS, and changing those settings should get rid of the audio white noise. For the video not launching, there could be several reasons, and as such more info is needed: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=496

I saw this popup concerning:
-the volume of xmb set to normal (it was hard but I finally found this setting you can access only when playing something)
-the left+right output: I can't find this setting in xmb. Could you help??

That is also available in the "Triangle" playback menu, I believe under the "Audio Options" item.

OK, fixed!! audio settings when playing video or audio are independant....
