MKV was streaming fine, but then began stuttering

Postby discolored » Wed Jan 26, 2011 3:39 am

I was watching a movie in 720p, H.264 with mp3 audio encased in MKV. It starts freezing halfway through. I restarted my router, but that didn't do anything. Any ideas why it works fine, but then starts freezing?

read this for stuttering...

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3507&start=90#p42818

That's all anyone can really help as you never gave any info as per this thread...

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=496

Then I advise reading the rest of the tutorial, rather than asking questions that were not only previously answered in it, but answered again within the last 2 hours....

Maybe your buffer is running dry?

I updated my original post.

What does "buffer running dry" mean?

If someone had the very same problem as me, could you direct me to such a thread covering this? It was working perfectly for me for the longest time, and now it's not.

Restarted my router once again, and now everything's streaming smoothly.

Thanks for the reply, at least.

Often, this is all that is needed. Glad it's going good for you. :)
