MKVtoolnix has MKVmerge as one of it's primary tools. So I refer to them as one in the same, sorry for confusion.
With the question about the audio stream I didn't clarify myself well. I meant onscreen of your TV when viewing PS3 feed.
You know when you press the triangle, then hit the info button. That is what I meant, and reading back, I see why I confused you.
I just want to make sure your PS3 is actually registering that there is an audio stream. Sometimes you will only see a value for the video codec.
So, again, better explained, hit triangle, then info button and see if there is an audio stream value. My theory is that this half value DTS stream is causing the file to not work. By remuxing the MKV with only the Nederlands audio, we might be able to rescue this file.
I only theorize this about the DTS because I have had this before with a similar file with the same specs.
If you notice no audio stream, THEN remux with MKVmerge as suggested without the "suspect" Eng. DTS track.
Hopefully I made it a little more clear for you.
I just wish these problems would go away. But, what can you do.
