ps3 can't see the media server with wireless connection

i have an dual core pc with 3,50gb memory and it s running windows xp sp3...
connection status:my pc is connected with wired connection with the router and ps3 is connected wireless with the router..
in this situation ps3 can't find the media server on xmb but media server finds the ps3..
i tried to connect the ps3 with the router with a wired connection and it worked!!!
i believe the problem is in wireless connection which i prefer to have between the pms and the ps3..
can anyone help please????????????????

Well first thing I would check, when you bring the PS3 on to the network, can you login to your PSN account and browse the store? - that proves that the wireless is working to the AP, and out to the network.

from there, i would check that "Media Server Connection" was enabled in the PS3 network settings.

and use the XMB to search for PS3 media servers.

make sure that the PS3 and PMS are on the same ip network, and you can ping them from your PC. Check the windows firewall settings, or any other firewall software.
Disable any firewall and anti-virus software.

Also check the names of your computers to remove any spaces and special characters - that fixed someone elses problem on here.

That's pretty much all I can think of.
