I decided to create a PMS Contrib version with some of the patches that exist out there.

Patch to work with UpnPlay in Android, transconding is not supported
Patch #919 and #921 that improve iTunes integration

I remember also other patches not mentioned here as:
- dvr-ms support with newer ffmpeg
- soft subtitles on Bravia TV (and maybe others) without transcoding - viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3811
- ....
