Memory consumption and Umlauts of 1.20.400 on MacOSX 10.6.2

Postby sica » Thu Feb 25, 2010 10:17 am

Hello,

I'm using 1.20.400 on MacOSX 10.6.2 in 64bit mode. My problem is, that the memory consumption of this version is rising from transcode to transcode. After transcoding around 6 files with each about 250MB my PS3 Media Server is consuming 894,5MB physical memory. After the first transcode the memory consumption rose from 106,4MB to 284,3MB and so on.

My second problem is, that all files that contain Umlauts are not displayed on my PS3.

[New I/O server worker #1-3] TRACE 19:22:29.370 The file /Volumes/Daten/video/Series/CSI NY/Season 3/3x10 - Die Vögel.mp4 was badly parsed. It will be hidden
[New I/O server worker #1-1] TRACE 19:22:30.148 The file /Volumes/Daten/video/Series/CSI NY/Season 3/3x18 - Die zersägte Jungfrau.mp4 was badly parsed. It will be hidden

These files were ripped by myself from DVD using HandBrake 0.9.4.

This happens as well with files that contain characters like "?" or ",".
