You can post plugins here without being a pms dev.
I'm in a similar case and hope that once the medialibrary I'm working (not a plugin but directly implemented into the pms base code) on since over 1.5y will be finished, it will happen 'naturally'

If you always wanted to have your most recent videos at the top of the folder in the ps3 or wished you could group all videos with the same genre in one folder, have a look at pms-mlx
