I tried PS3 Media Server beta with my BDP-S370. It detected ok, but none of the files played. I could browse folders, etc, though. The message was "File is corrupt or unsupported", or something like that.
The player identifies in the trace with the strings with "UPnP/1.0 DLNADOC/1.50" and "UPnP/1.0". No reference to brand or model. Copying a portion of the string from the trace log, and putting into a config file allows custom settings. I still couldn't get anything to play.
I tried some of these settings:viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2099&start=470#p29955
Windows Media Player can stream DiVX, mp3, jpgs, etc ok to this player, but I'd like to get PS3 Media Server running if possible. Thanks in advance for any tips/help.

EDIT: Updated post with the HTTP User agent strings from the trace, and added link to another thread.
