Don't know if anyone has tried. By default I would say no (I think the name of the app is pretty explanatory

It requires a DLNA client. I am not aware of any of those for a wii.

There is another program called TVersity which also does a web interface, and works on the wii (sort of).

tried tversity but it crashes cause the wii doesn't have the power to run it.

Apparently there's some wii-friendly http interface in tversity, atleast from what I've heard. Currently there's no such thing in PMS, and far as I know not planned.
