PMS under Mandriva Linux

Postby ober » Tue Jan 20, 2009 5:22 pm

Hello,
I am new to linux, and I am trying to automatically start PMS when booting Linux Mandriva 2009
But I just can't find how to do that.

Manually, everything works fine.
I open a shell, then type :
# sh PMS.sh
and everything works great.

I've created a user PS3, that will automatically open a session.
Then, in /home/ps3/.kde4/Autostart I have created a link to the PMS.sh file.
But this is not working.
Can someone tell me how to do this ?
Thanks a lot

Hi,

I think that a symlink to PMS.sh is not enough.
I think you have to create a small bash file, where you first move to the PMS folder.
There you can than start PMS.sh.

I think it has someting to do with not able to find the jars that are needed voor PMS.

Example bash file:

Code: Select all
#!/bin/bash

cd /where/your/PMS/folder/is
./PMS.sh
cd -
