Youtube HD support for PS3!!!

Youtube XL has been around for about 1 year now I think... the problem is that the video quality is terrible. That's why there is http://www.ps3youtube.com as a solution.

Yeah, YouTube XL is shit. After trying to get it to not suck for the past half hour, I've given up. It's embarrassing.

I've no idea how your site compares as far as HD support is concerned as it hides that support behind a series of steps that seem to involve cookie copying. For starters, this is a pain to do and, more importantly, I'd need to see a detailed rationale for doing such a thing rather than "please follow these instructions".

The cookies aren't stored anywhere (except on your own ps3) or used for evil or something like that , if its what you mean. Youtube have change something couple of weeks ago (without going into details) and its now not possible to share a video link with other people. So now the video links must be generated individually for each user and in order to do that ps3youtube.com needs some data from the cookie in order to generate such link (because of domain restrictions, this step must be executed manually ). You say its a pain to do...there isn't any other way...PS3Youtube.com is the only site that allows you to download and watch youtube videos (in such high quality) on the ps3 because of it, its only 3 steps: copy link, go to youtube.com and follow the link you have previously copied, that's its! and you only have to do this once ! ...(until you delete the cookies on your ps3, because as I said, cookies are only stored on the ps3)

PMSEncoder also allows HD YouTube videos to be streamed (at the highest possible quality), although you need a feed.

its only 3 steps: copy link, go to youtube.com and follow the link you have previously copied, that's its! and you only have to do this once !

How to do it? How to make a search on a particular topic, like http://www.ps3youtube.com/?search=blabla?
Is there any xml or rss that it is possible to use?

Deleted cookies, then tried to access the site. Had to go thru the "copy and paste" instructions again, but this time, it doesn't take you back to the site when done, and the green warning about enabling is up still.

I think YouTube caught on to this site and killed it.

nope its not possible.

The site has now many new features it didn't had in the beginning. You are now able to browse through users, tags, categories, playlists, gametrailers podcasts and revision3 podcasts. You can now also download whole videos in various qualities such as SD, 720p and 1080p. You can now also see the video description and comments, and even post a comment through an external link.

Awesome job, jaqb! I really enjoy using ps3youtube.com and I appreciate what you've done to the ps3 community the site is working like a charm, fast and reliable, maybe apart from the need to double tap backwards to return to the previous page.
However, would it be possible to go to a subscription page somehow?? It seams to be the only thing missing from your premade set of links. Like, if the starting page, instead of the most popular videos could display my youtube subscriptions. I tried manually entering the following address, but it doesn't return any results (sad face):

I followed the link in Ps3youtube,com and copied the link and it sent me to a blank page that stated "Page cannot be displayed (80720631)" ...Help please..I would like to watch the vids in HQ
