1.20.400 takes long time to find PS3

1. Every time I restart the media server, it takes up to 5 minutes to find the PS3. I checked the debug file and every time is is going through my entire media folder and I guess caching it?? Isn't this supposed to only happen once? Or since the checkbox is checked (Enable the media library cache) it will do it every time it is restarted? This usually leads to DLNA errors on the PS3 and it won't detect any media.

2. Seems like it now transcodes .avi files?? This never happened. Do I have to put the extension with or without the . under the "do not transcode the following extensions"??

OK, as for problem #1, it is the I-Tunes library it is updating every time. I unchecked I-Tunes and it loaded right away and is working flawlessly!
#2, I took out the .avi and make it just avi and now it is working like a champ! It's funny that transcoding an avi uses more system resources than a 1080p .mkv file! Everything looks ok. I'll just leave I-Tunes alone for now.

With 1.20.400 and win7ows pro this version have very bad subtitles issues and very bad mencoder issues using core 2 duo laptop where 1.10.51 do easyly..

any reason about that ? whats wrong ?

I mean if new version scrap good parts of the soft we cant spell it 1.20 but maybe 1.09 ?
