Anyone create a profile for the Pioneer 5020FD Kuro?

Why you don't create it yourself?
It can do who own Kuro so you can start ;)

If someone can write up a quick "how to" i'd be willing to give it a try. The thread on this topic is 43 plus pages and i don't really need it to work. I have a PS3 that i use so i don't really need to get PS3-MS working with my Pioneer though it would be nice to not have to turn on the PS3 all the time.
If i see a simple how to written up i'll spend some time playing arround with a profile.
I might also read through the entire topic if i have time.

Thanks

If PMS don't know your renderer it shows it as unknown renderer in TRACES and also in DEBUG.LOG file. Check it for this string so you can define detection string in renderer config file.
More info is also mentioned here in forum so you can also try SEARCH.
Also you can find supported features for your TV on Pioneer web so you can define what TV supports natively and what have to be transcoded.

Ok so i took a stab at this. PMS was recognizing my pioneer kuro 5020fd as a popcorn hour machine.
I used the bravia5500.conf file as the basis for the 5020fd.
Changed the UserAgentAdditionalHeaderSearch field so it recognizes the pioneer kuro 5020fd correctly
So far using the Bravia5500 conf settings things work fine.
The only issue i have is that image thumbnails don't display on the tv thumbnail view for a directory of images.
When i view an image i can see the full image just fine but i get no thumbnails?

Any idea how to fix?

Here is the conf file and an image i created to show allong with it when detected.
http://rapidshare.com/files/363463829/5020fd.conf.html
http://rs431.rapidshare.com/files/36346 ... 5020fd.png

I'll try and edit the conf file if i find problems with any videos or sound files. I've not done much testing but so far things seem to work ok.
Others can now use this as a basis for any customizations that need to apply to the 5020fd.

Can this be added to the compiled project?

Image thumbnails are not managed natively by the server, as the ps3 supports direct display of the original image (but not all renderers do this, it seems). I'll add the conf files, thanks !

Thanks Shagrath for a great program.
if i find issues i'll update the conf for the 5020fd and upload updates.

I have additional settings, this works with Pioneer Kuro KRP 500. See the attached file for this.
