DVD-R m2ts and MKV stutters on 100MBit LAN *SOLVED*

I recently re-installed my Windows 7 x64 because my PS3Mediaserver was stuttering. Now with the fresh install, same problem... I don't think its due to a lame CPU or other hardware for that matter. I have a AMD Phenom II X4 965 6GB DDR2 and a ATi Radeon 4850HD... Tried lowering the quality settings and limiting the bandwith use (no help though). Read all the post in this forum... I wont change media server either because i hate TVeristy...

Why not use mkv2vob to mux the file into one the PS3 supports. It takes no time at all and with your specs it should do it pretty much instantly. It doesn't take that long for me on a dual core 1.7ghz laptop. Then it won't have to transcode and there should be no stutter at all. I transfer them accross to my PS3 and watch them from the hard drive and with a wired connection it doesn't take very long (when I was doing it via wireless it took about four hours for a 1080p video and dropped out so many times that I had to keep starting again - I left it on over night just to see "a connection error has occured" when I woke up in the morning).

As i posted in the topic even "m2ts" (converted from mkv with mkv2vob) stutter... But i think i found the problem... I had a 100MBit switch between my computer and router... Connected my PC directly to the router and voila, no stutter...

Btw how do you transfer them to the PS3 via LAN?
