Also, does the package contain the multi-threaded versions of the mplayer binaries? (mplayer-mt, mencoder-mt and/or ffmpeg-mt)
If not, are you planning to include them so people with multi-core cpu's can try them out?
The package does work on ubuntu jaunty, karmic, lucid lynx, debian lenny ... where i have already tested them ...
Btw, normally it should work on any debian etch and every debian/ubuntu derivatives distros ...
The package does not contain mplayer, ffmpeg binaries ... knowing that they are already packaged by other developers .. though you should install mplayer, ffmpeg etc .. from apt tools
Anyway, the package i made depends on mplayer, ffmpeg ... if you decide to install it , you will be prompted to install the dependencies too !
Do not worry about that
There's no need to include ffmpeg , mplayer or any other software in the package ... if i did so, i would no respect the debian-policy and the ubuntu policy for packaging softwares ... and i won't be able to make the package available in debian/ubuntu repositories
