subtitles out of sync +4 seconds

is there a fix to this?

this is my first film with subtitles that iv tried using the media server -

i created a new folder and put in the .srt folder along with the .avi film..

subtitles are in sync when using the vlc player -

but out of sync by around 4/5 seconds when iv used the media server (to my ps3)

iv tryed transcoding and the different options of transcoding, but the subtitles are always 4/5 secs out of sync.

surprisingly couldnt find any other probs on the forums with delayed subtitles, but a few linked to them...

ah my friend just told me to disable avisync option and its worked fine - sorry

although one more problem i have -

cant update the player properly...

it downloads, then tells me it cant run unless i close the media server.... but when i close it the download closes too -

everytime i start the media server it gives me the auto download option so it cant be working properly?

because you are on Vista with UAC enabled, there's a bug right now
