streaming from the internet?

Postby keki72 » Mon Jan 19, 2009 3:38 pm

Hello!

Great program, works very good for me except the streaming from internet, (youtube etc)
I get a black screen and after a while, something about corrupted data.
The mediaserver.exe service is allowed by my firewall! (AVG 8.0)

I´ve got the internet streaming to work now but there is no sound!!

When I stream audio everything works great until the transcoding buffer gets full. As soon as that happen the stream stutters or even stops. If I stop and restart the stream it works again..'til the buffer is full... Anyone else experiencing this?

I have been able to get the 2 French 2 stations to stream with audio, but when I go to the YouTube section I get video but no audio. Anyone else have this same issue? Seems strange one works and the other doesn't

that's normal, you should install VLC to have perfect web video streaming

O.K. - great program - works almost perfect with video. I cannot get the web streaming to work. Videolan is Green in the transcoding settings, PS3 shows videolan on items - all I can get is "Corupted Data"(just trying default sites). Am I missing a permission, firewall, etc? I have not seen any specific setup methood - any help?

I'm having the same problem, but I've already had VLC installed. Is there something else that I need? Like an additional plug, library, dependency?

Also, very few of the streams configured in the web.conf file are actually showing up. Does anyone know why?

Thanks!
