I am too stupid and i can not get the audio streams to work i tried
these lines
audiostream.Web,Radios,SKYFM-96k=FreeJazz,http://www.sky.fm/mp3/jazz.pls
audiostream.Web,Radios,Polish-Stations=PIN,http://91.121.88.150:7000

i see the folders on my ps3 but when i go into them all it says is "no tracks found "

i had a look in the trace and there is no mentioning of my tries.

Any Ideas .

PS runs Vista . i installed VLC , can view video feeds , its just the audio which does not work.

Thanks

Go into the media server under MUSIC instead of VIDEO!

now that we have sorted the little issues of using the correct menu

most radio links posted here work fine , the one i try to get working still doesn't.

I am trying to stream http://radio.virtualdj.com:8000 but i get nothing i also tried http://radio.virtualdj.com/listen.pls but also no joy.
these links work when i paste them into winamp . PS3 shows the "wavy" screen , just like it would on other working ones.

am i missing something

my entry in web.conf

audiostream.Web,Radios,House=Virtual DJ,http://radio.virtualdj.com:8000

Thanks

I tried to steam this station (dutch) wich will work om Windows Mediaplayer:

audiostream.Web,Radio=West Friesland Radio,http://westfrieslandradio.dahstream.nl/stream.m3u,http://www.westfrieslandradio.nl/images/assets/logo2.gif

but it wont work on the PS3 Media Server. Maybe because they are streaming with a 192 Kb/Sec bitrate? Or somebody else will try ?
PS3 Media Server is na absoluut perfect program, i love it!

Thanx

Hello, first post in this board. I really love this program, and I want to customize the video and audio streams to my preference, but I have a couple of questions.

1. How do you find out the web code information for these TV sites? If I learn that, I won't have to keep making requests.

2. In the meantime, can I get the web code for some Japanese TV stations, including any that play anime?

3. And also, regarding the Gametrailers code, is there a way to set it so all the videos are in HD, when available? I would also like a webcode for Xbox 360 trailers along with Wii. Or better yet, a code that just plays all recently added trailers regardless of console.

Thanks for the help.

I tried putting it into the web.conf and it didn't show up, although neither is anything that was put into the web.conf by default.

The .asx link just gives you a playlist for WMP. If you download the playlist and look at it with notepad you will find the real stream address.
Which is "mms://wm.24seven.fm/ssthi" btw.

Just thought I would mention that you can retrieve the "actual" stream address via WinAMP too... FILE --> View file info... --> The "filename" at the top is what you want.

Also worth noting that if you are editing WEB.conf via Vista then you cannot save your new file directly to the folder, just save it to your documents and manually move it using explorer. Also to be aware, if you have edited via notepad then it is likely that when you save your renamed file it will append ".txt" on the end... so your new file will be something like "WEB2.conf.txt"... so open up a command prompt as administrator and manually locate your file and rename directly. Anyone got a better method for renaming files?

"cd.." will take you back one directory - keep doing it until you get to root C:
"cd program files"
"cd ps3 media server"
"rename WEB2.conf.txt WEB2.conf"
"exit"
