audio playlist

Postby iSED8 » Fri Jan 30, 2009 8:29 am

What audio playlist format is recognized by PS3MS? The lists I used for tversity were not recognized. Is there a specific type of playlist that can be recognized? Thanks.

I can't find where to load the playlists... Mine are m3u that worked in Tverstity... Is there something I need to do to get PS3 media server to "see" them?
Thanks,
RA

Same problem here. I have a folder containing my playlists (.m3u) which is shared. It shows as empty.
Am I missing something?

You might need to enable the media library on PMS.

I posted a duplicate (I think) of this question here viewtopic.php?f=2&t=446 before finding this thread... My interest is finding a way to create a playlist for music files that will be streamed---not for files resident on the PS3 hard drive. So how does one create a playlist that works with PMS? What tool do you use and where does the playlist file need to be placed on the source PC for PMS/PS3 to find/use it?

you just have to create a m3u playlist anywhere on your PC, then go access that folder on XMB's media server, the playlist should appear as a folder

I can echo the above comments. I have done this and cannot view the files. Still trouble shooting.
