same problem here. I can find the PS3 (not easy, I think parallels desktop shadow ethernet adapters are messing up with ps3ms, not sure), i can definitely stream some stuff which is transcoded (mkvs), but anything on the internet, no go: no radio, no youtube, no videolan TV.. very frustrating! I get "data corrupted" all the time. Any clues, anyone?
I'm also looking forward to this working. I currently run Juice on my mac to download web content (mainly RSS video stuff), which then transcodes ok with MEncoder. It would be great to have direct web feeds working. Nic
This is awesome news. Thanks a lot man..! Sorry, this info was probably on a faq somewhere, i just got too carried away (and then disappointed when it didn't work) to see some french TV on the videolan streaming menu (I am french and live in the US, and I really miss french TV sometimes )
I'm using version 1.10.5 right now and 'only' the pictures and music options under the Web menu, work in XMB. Whenever i try to watch web-based video's PS3 Media Server logs the following: [osx/vlc] TRACE 22:46:56.468 java.io.IOException: osx/vlc: not found [osx/vlc] TRACE 22:46:56.469 at java.lang.UNIXProcess.forkAndExec(Native Method)
For all other functions the program works fine, great program to use. It would just be complete with this web-based video function. Any clues on why this isnt working for me, or if this isnt implemented yet for us OSX users, when this will be implemented? Thanks for a truly great program sofar.
