new test done: changed DOWN to version 1.11.356 of PS3MS. This solved an issue with the buffer running empty, and therefore playing movies better. (It doesn't stop after some minutes anymore).

But: still no worldradio. Updated the web.conf with step 2 and 3 (1 wasn't needed replied the program). All the items do show up in the XMB on the TV, but after selecting a directory it still replies "no playable content".

Too bad.... still no webradio for me.

All I did was run it as administrator with PS3 Media player closed. The program did its thing. Reopened PS3 Media Server, went to Music on the PS3's menu, selected the server, to Web, to Radio and I had a bazillion radio stations.

I got the same error. I run Win XP Pro, and there's no admin issues here. During the update on step one, the progress jumps from 1% to 17% instantly after about 20 radio websites, and give the "Run-time error '62;" Input past end of file... I mostly have Argentina radios, favorites and 1 Whashington comedy station. There must be some corrupted data in the webpage file.

Add radio stations

Postby jsmiddleton4 » Wed Oct 14, 2009 4:11 pm

So what we need is something that will give us the IP address of the web radio station?

Because I own a Denon 3808 I also have access to its internet radio stations via vtuner. Lots of stations there I'd like to add. Would be nice to add them to the correct country if possible.

Adding your own Radio Stations:
----------------------------------
In the same directory as all of the PS3-RADIO files, you will see a file called FAVORITES.CSV
Find a working radio station URL. I suggest using WINAMP and display the web address of the currently playing station.
Paste that entry into favorites with a description.

Example:
Using winamp, I click on the scrolling song name and a popup displayed the URL as: http://206.71.145.10:8010
Using Windows Notepad, I then paste the following line into favorites.csv:
Radio Paradise,http://206.71.145.10:8010

re-run PS3-RADIO and your new entry will appear in the favorites menu of your PS3.

Sorry guys,

I have not checked this forum for almost a month. I also get the error. A wee bit of debugging has shown that the database website has a bad entry and my program is grabbing the garbage entry causing the 'end of file' error. I have updated my program and I now check for that garbage character and fix the entries before storing them.

I have updated my webpage with the new program. It now works for me.

download it a give it a try.

jsmiddleton4:

Yes, you need the web address of where the radio station is found. I used Winamp to find some interesting stations because winamp tells you the address of where it is grabbing the audio.

Once you have the address, place an entry in the favorites.csv file and re-run steps 2 & 3 (they run really fast!)

If you re-run Step 1, it takes a LONG time because to re-downloads and rechecks every entry. I almost never re-run step 1. I add to my favorites.csv if I find something interesting.

The problem with the Denon web radio site if I'm using windows media player, etc., it just gives me the web address/url.

I'll try winamp.
