Maybe I just missed a Wiki page somewhere that already answers this question?
I ask because the software seems to run fine on my linux host and the PS3 can see it for a second if I force it to scan, but the PS3 flashes some numerical error and a message about being unable to connect to the media server.
Here's the trace from my startup, which seems to look fine. With that said, I haven't told the server where on my filesystem to find media, so I'm not sure how I could expect it to work...?
