I don't see why this would fix anything, but I noticed you are using the 1.10 release. Perhaps you should try this beta: http://ps3mediaserver.org/files/pms-mac ... a-r356.dmg

That screenshot you have on the first page of this thread.... can you produce one more of those, but this time with the beta? I'll check it against mine.

In fact, here is mine:

They obviously look the same (save small differences like Java version, OS ver), and one big difference, which is you are missing the all important line:
Code: Select all
[New I/O server worker #1-1] TRACE 17:37:46.004 Renderer Playstation 3 found on this address: /10.0.1.3

We've been focused on the Mac, but looking at the trace makes me think it's probably ok.

Let's start talking about your playstation config. First off, have you ever had a media server connect to it at all? Like MediaLink or other? How is the PS3 connected? Wired or WiFi? What type of NAT is reported in your network settings on the PS3? If I recall, one of the NAT types is no good for media serving (not that I can remember which one), but I know my NAT Type is "Type 2."

More potentially pertinent info:

Both the mac and ps3 are linked with a belkin f5d5141-5, and that then goes out to the linksys router. As I mentioned before, I can in fact ping my ps3 from my mac.

Thanks for the picture. Man, it all looks fine. Just for grins, wanna download a demo copy of medialink and see if it works? I am a registered user of medialink, and I'm here to tell you it's junk compared to PMS, so this is not an endorsement to use it. Just a diagnostic test. http://www.nullriver.com/downloads/MediaLink.zip

I use a switch between my router also, switches don't do any NAT, so that shouldn't effect anything.
