force .ts files inside a [tsremux] folder to use tsremux?

Postby quepaso » Mon Jan 26, 2009 9:08 am

i have some TS files that have blu-ray authentic avc streams in them and the only way to make them play properly is putting then into ts containers. MKV results in a messed up artifact filled image. However, even in a folder with [tsremux] written in the name, is still just defaults to stream normally instead of tsremux. Is it possible to force whatever is in the directory to use it?

ts are not transcoded by default, and there's no way to force it based on this method. You can only specify the transcoding engine you want to use for transcoded files of this folder... but it's a good idea ! if you have any "pattern" name in mind for this, like [transcode] or whatever...

Could you make it so that the filename having .tsremux in it or .mencoder in it will always use that option? That would be the best possible solution. That way everything can be in a single directory. Whatever you decide on a name should be fine.

You can play TS files from video folder natively but same file is also listed in TRANSCODE folder with postfix [tsMuxer] so the best way will be play TS natively and in transcode folder play it with use of tsMuxer? 8-)
